Weapon training: Ferrans are trained in the use of club, crossbow, dagger, dart, hand axe, javelin, short sword and sling.  They tend to favour light armour but can wear any.

Alignment: Any

Ferrans can add their Luck bonus to any checks to find treasure and to any one of the thief skills listed below.  This bonus is set at level one and does not change as the Ferrans luck score does.

Ferrans can release three times daily a horrible noxious scent, anyone within 10’ with a sense of smell must make a DC 15 Fort save or be -2 on all rolls (-4 if they have an especially good sense of smell) for d4 rounds.  Ferrans are immune to their own scent and that of other Ferrans.  Unfortunately for their companions who are not immune a Ferran when surprised has a 50% chance of involuntarily releasing the scent.

Ferrans have an excellent sense of smell, gaining a +4 on any related checks and are able to track by scent (DC to be set by the Judge based on environment, weather and time elapsed).

Ferrans have a vicious bite that inflicts d4 damage.
