The Thrall Warrior for DCC

Thrall Warrior

See any of the free Talislanta pdf’s at http://talislanta.com/?page_id=5 for background info and roleplaying hints.

Hit Dice: d12

Thralls were bred for war and can use any weapon.  They prefer to wear Full Garde armour but can wear any armour.

Deed of Arms and Deed Die as Warrior in DCC.

Luck: At first level a Thrall’s Luck modifier applies to attack rolls with one specific kind of wepon just as a warrior does.  The Thrall may choose Full Garde armour as the “weapon” this applies to.

Thralls are immune to fear both natural and magical.

Thralls are unable to comprehend the use of magic and cannot use scrolls or any magical items that require a command word or activation of any sort.

Tazian Combat:  Thralls may add both their Agility and Strength modifiers to grapple checks.  While wearing Full Garde armour a Thrall Warrior gains an additional armour spike attack that uses a d14 to hit (plus deed die and STR mods), this attack deals d4 damage (plus STR bonus).

As a Thrall Warrior gains more experience they get better at utilizing Full Garde armour.  Use the table below for Full Garde Armour bonuses.  A surprised Thrall Warrior counts as 4 levels lower for the surprise round (minimum 0).  Also use the level 0 line for anyone besides a Thrall wearing Full Garde.
